One of the leading names in the wedding and corporate photography and documentation sector, Checkmate Events (CE) celebrated “moving forward” with Checkmate Keynote 2018 in the EMK centre, at Dhanmondi 27 on April 8.
The program began at 6:00 PM, when when M Aminur Rahman, CEO & Cheif Photographer of CE took the stage to talk about the company; starting from its humble beginnings to the exponential growth it had in the span of 6 years. He spoke of how CE uses various methods to cater to their customers with the best quality work, from creating suitable packages to meeting clients’ various demands to building a brand name in the rather homogenous market.
The seminar comprised of sections, the first being the photography section, where the M Aminur Rahman talked about what made CE stand out in a market full of competitors all providing similar services, “We differ in quality as well as communication. We try to understand our customer’s needs not just by following their instructions, but by getting to know them so we can find ways to give them the best shots possible.”
The event’s first announcement was regarding the launch of their new wedding photography package called “Masterpiece”, which will provide customers with a chance to have a specific team that will consist of senior photographers who will bring their special moments to life.
The next section comprised of Checkmate Motion Pictures, that deals with the cinematography section of the company, making wedding documents of pristine quality, with direction, editing and post-production work done by co-founder of CE, Sadia Afrin. The speaker announced the introduction of customized songs for the cinematic wedding videos, where CE will make an original composition or remix of a song of choice and even provide customized lyrics.
CE also spoke of their involvement with corporate clients, having done numerous work with companies like GP and Bkash. They announced their latest involvement with World Bank in an upcoming project. During this part of the speech, M Aminur Rahman spoke of “What’s next?” for CE, before he unveiled the main element of the seminar.
The time came for the final announcement of the evening where M Aminur Rahman called up to the stage the brides of CE who agreed to do a photoshoot for them for the 1425 Bengali calendar. The event launched the digital calendar with makeover partner, Gala Makeover Studio & Salon by Navin Ahmed and accessories partner 6 Yard Story. It was also promised that a printed version of the calendar will soon be available while the digital version would be available from April 14, 2018 on the CE website.
As bonus surprise, a partnership with CE was also announced that would give customers 10% discount on each of the companies, if they take any service from the other.
After the end of the event, pictures were taken by a room full of #TeamCheckmate photographers and refreshments were served, after the end of a successful event that celebrated the growth and passion of a young company striving for excellence.
